Many building owners are not fully aware of the condition of their properties and until failure of an element occurs, no maintenance/inspection has usually been undertaken. A Building Condition Survey carried out by ARC will identify current defects within properties, some of which may need to be addressed immediately, along with those issues that are likely to arise long term and which can be dealt with through a programme of planned maintenance.
Where specific problems exist, and perhaps where there are contentious issues involved, then a more in depth Defects Investigation and Analysis can be carried out, leading to the preparation of an expert report that can later be used in dispute resolution proceedings.
